Mr. Tanaka is an immediate past Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and is currently Global Associate for Energy Security and Sustainability Institute of Energy Economics, Japan. He is a Distinguished Fellow, Center for Global Energy Policy, Columbia University and Professor, Graduate School of Public Policy, the University of Tokyo.
Chris Hartshorn – “Driving Economic Development via Emerging Technologies”
Dr. Hartshorn is Chief Research Officer at Lux Research, an independent research and advisory firm providing strategic advice and ongoing intelligence on emerging technology opportunities and challenges. Lux Research has offices on three continents and is headquartered in Boston.
Richard Heinberg – “Climate Change and Sustainability Drivers Affecting Future Market Demand”
Mr. Heinberg is a Senior Fellow, Post Carbon Institute, Santa Rosa, CA – Author of 11 books, including The End of Growth and renowned communicator on the urgent need to transition away from fossil fuels.
